Downloading CSV files with custom set fixation filters
When downloading CSV files with fixations, the default value of the minimum fixation duration parameter is set to 100 ms. You may want to set another, custom value (like on the heatmap panel for each item). To do so, click "Export Data" on your study dashboard, choose the right CSV file, right-click on it and copy the link:
Paste the link in a new tab (without opening it yet). Add the first variable using the "?" (question mark) and the next variables using "&" (ampersand):
- minFixationDurationMs=X (where X is any value in ms),
- gazeVelocityThreshold=Y (where Y is any value in %/s),
- noiseReductionLevel=Z (where Z is any value expressed as a number of frames).
NOTE: check our article about fixation filters to learn more.
For example, for a minimum fixation duration = 200 ms, gaze velocity threshold = 40%/s and noise reduction level =18 frames, the download link:
https://www.realeye.io/dashboard/report/study-aoi-overall-stats/a7cd87d5-9a32-4127-b3e1-16bb01646813
is now:

NOTE: You can set filters (including fixation filters) while being on the heatmap dashboard and click "download" from the menu above the heatmap - all CSV files downloaded this way will have all the filters applied.
