What are recordings?

Recordings are videos showing how participants' eyes were moving over items during the test. A moving orange circle on the video represents an area where the participant was looking (gaze point) at this particular moment throughout the whole test. The yellow lines indicate the fixation path (you can also turn on the gaze path in the recording view options). You can analyze how a participant perceived your item, where he looked at first, at last, for how long he was looking at a particular area, and where he/she moved the cursor and clicked.

Recordings also show items in the order that a participant saw them - it may be especially useful if the "random order" option is selected.
