RealEye offers flexible subscription plans to suit different research needs. Whether you're an individual researcher, a team, or a company, you can choose from various pricing options and customize your license as needed.

Available Licensing Plans & Pricing
RealEye provides three main subscription plans, which you can explore in detail here.
Basic Plan
The Basic Plan is a great starting point for those new to eye-tracking or conducting smaller-scale studies. This plan is ideal for individual researchers or small businesses that need essential eye-tracking tools without requiring extensive support or data export.

- 20 own participants / month
- Up to 3 min single study time
Standard Plan
The Standard Plan is designed for businesses, UX researchers, and research teams that require more participants, longer study durations, and additional features. This plan supports more complex research projects and offers enhanced functionality.

- 300 own participants / month
- Up to 10 min single study time
- External tool integration (eg. Qualtrics)
- Data export
Custom (PRO) Plan
The Custom (PRO) Plan offers the most comprehensive set of features, designed for enterprises and advanced research projects. It is ideal for large-scale studies, customized integrations, and businesses requiring maximum flexibility and customization.

- >300 own participants / month
- Up to 60 min single study time
- External tool integration (eg. Qualtrics)
- Data export

Standard and Custom (PRO) licenses include a 1-hour training session with the first purchase to help you navigate the platform. Priority Support is available for the entire duration of these licenses. If you require extra training or have multiple teams needing guidance, RealEye provides paid training options. Special Pricing for Education
RealEye also offers special pricing for educational institutions and non-commercial research. Students can access the platform at a discounted rate, while universities and research organizations can benefit from customized plans that provide access to more participants and enhanced collaboration tools. Payment Options & Subscription Flexibility
RealEye’s payment structure provides flexibility, allowing you to choose the payment method that suits your financial preferences:
- Monthly Subscription: charged on a month-to-month basis. You can enable the auto-renewal option when making the initial payment
- Annual Subscription: pay upfront for a full year and get 2 months free! The auto-renewal option is available.
- Custom License Periods: this is ideal for businesses or researchers with time-specific needs. If you require a specific license duration, contact us at contact@realeye.io.

How to Upgrade / Buy a New License
To purchase a new license, follow these steps:
- Log in to your RealEye account.
- Go to the Licenses.
- Click Activate New License – you will be redirected to the checkout page.
- Select your preferred plan and click Purchase.
- Enter your payment details, including:
- Full Name
- Email Address (default is the one linked to your RealEye account)
- Company Name
- VAT / Tax ID
- Address
- City
- Postal Code
- Country
You can enable the auto-renewal option when making the initial payment.

Managing Your Subscription
To purchase a new license, follow these steps:
- Log in to your RealEye account.
- Go to the Licenses section.
- Click Activate New License – you will be redirected to the checkout page.
- Select your preferred plan and click Purchase.

You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time, and your participant limits and study duration will adjust accordingly.
If you wish to cancel your License, please note:
- Your studies and collected data will only remain accessible for 30 days after your last payment.
- If you wish to keep access to your data, you have the option to downgrade to a lower-tier plan instead of canceling.
- License remains active until the end of the billing cycle, meaning you can still use RealEye until your current period expires.
To change your plan, log in to your RealEye account and in the Licenses section click Cancel License to cancel your subscription or Activate New License to switch plans. Your new plan will take effect immediately, and a new billing period will begin.
Important: No refunds apply when changing or canceling plans.
What Happens When My License Expires?
As your License nears expiration, you’ll see a red label in the top-right corner of your account dashboard, and a warning message will appear in your License tab.
Before your license expires, we’ll also send you an email explaining what to expect. Once your license expires:
- You won’t be able to create new studies.
- Participants won’t be able to join your studies.
- You will lose access to your study results.
To avoid any interruptions, make sure to purchase a new license before your current subscription expires.
Changing Participant Limits
If you would like to invite more participants beyond your plan’s limit, RealEye offers flexible add-on pricing. The cost for each additional own participant is $1.30, while the price for each additional RealEye panelist is $15. Unused own participant slots do not carry over to a new license, but unused RealEye panelists do. If you purchase a license for multiple months, however, you can use participants freely throughout the entire license period. Please note, that if your subscription has auto-renewal enabled, the counters will reset monthly, as each renewal grants you a new one-month license.
