[Managing Participants](http://support.realeye.io/managing-participants?hsLang=en) # How to Add More Participants to a Study ## Follow these steps to invite more Own or RealEye Participants to your study. --- If you'd like to invite more participants beyond your plan's limit, RealEye offers flexible add-on pricing. You can invite two types of participants: - [**Own Participants**](http://support.realeye.io/own-testers?hsLang=en) - [**RealEye Panelists**](http://support.realeye.io/realeye-panelists?hsLang=en)   Your [License type](https://support.realeye.io/realeye-pricing?hsLang=en) determines the "Own Participants" limit, which is the maximum number of participants allowed in a study. **You do not have to use all available slots** - a participant slot is counted as "used" only after results are provided. For "RealEye Panelists," the exact number of results provided will correspond to the number of purchased participants. **Unused "Own Participants" slots do not carry over to a new license, but unused "RealEye panelists" do.** If you purchase a multi-month license, you can use participants freely throughout the entire license period. Please note that if your subscription has auto-renewal enabled, the counters will reset monthly, as each renewal grants you a new one-month license. Go to the **License** tab or click on your License in the top right corner. 2. Set the number of **own participants** or **RealEye panelists** you want to invite. Click "Purchase," and you'll be redirected to our secure payment provider. ![line\_RealEye](https://support.realeye.io/hs-fs/hubfs/line_RealEye.png?width=670&height=1&name=line_RealEye.png) ### Setting Participant Limits for a Specific Study **You can also set a maximum number of participants you'd like to invite to a specific study.** For example, if your license allows you to invite 300 participants and you have three separate studies, you may want to recruit 100 participants for each. You can easily set a participation limit for each study, ensuring that no more than your specified number can join any individual study. To set a maximum number of participants for a specific study: 1.
